S-Style Mixing Head
Brand: Graco, IncThe S-Style High Pressure Mixing Head has proven to be an industry workhorse and often exceeds its standard warranty service life.
The precision S-Style recirculating mixing head utilizes the principles of high-pressure impingement mixing and the patented Gusmer-Decker mechanically self-cleaning mixing chamber.
The injection shot and the recirculation are through the same adjustable, impingement orifice, which reduces pressure, spikes and continuously purges the interior passages of any mixed material.
Features- High velocity exit allows mixture stream to fill closed molds, minimizing use of multiple heads to fill molds
- Available in a range of mixing chamber diameters to accommodate various output requirements
- Available in a long stroke model for better laminar flow
- Elastomer seals on mix piston eliminates need to "foam" in head to create seal
- Ideal for materials such as rigid or flexible urethanes
- Self-cleaning
- Flow rates: 12 to 360 lbs/min (5.4 to 163 kg/min) Carbide option available for applications requiring abrasive fillers:
- Same as L-Style mixing head, but includes Carbide inserts on mix piston and orifices for increased mixing head life.
